At Telecommuting Visions Institute (TVI), we help get people back on life's path as they recover from injury, stay sober, and live and work illusion-free and drug free forever.

The atmosphere at our Telecommuting Training Center is a functional "work and learn" environment. You have come to the right place if you, or someone you know, is looking for a way to get well forever. People coming to see us quickly realize TVI is not some assembly-line rehab center. Our Center is a place people want to be at by choice. It is home-like, but with the latest in modern technology. It is a place where the experience of wellness and usefulness is real and available. Our Telecommuting Program operates on the premise that learning-by-doing is both the first step, and necessary at every step in the recovery process. TVI makes recovery accessible to anyone who sincerely wants it by creating a safe space where people experiencing different phases of recovery can interact and help others. We help arrange a work-recovery relationship between each person we train and our "small society" of functioning, working, responsible adults, who have successfully gone through the recovery process themselves. Our program is made up entirely of participants, volunteers and staff. TVI has created an environment that allows us to give and get something of value each day, both between ourselves and with the outside world. Better still, we can be proud of having satisfied people each hour of the day by producing something real, both individually and as a team.

Our program takes place in a positive, do-together, work-together, sober environment where each individual can feel comfortable and at ease. The principals of our Telecommuting Program are practiced in everyday living and continue through our Work and Learn Partnership which offers a lifetime support system. TVI's Program is both extremely cost-effective and outcome-effective because the program builds strong and lasting social support systems, benefitting both our participants and society at large.

Many of TVI's participants become appreciated by society again, even when no one else would help them. People who may seem beyond help can be helped by our Telecommuting Program. People who have been in one institution after another can recover through our unique method. People who, through family problems, injury, substance abuse, or other challenge find themselves out-of-touch with society can root themselves step-by-step again and make a come-back through a TVI program. Even an individual who may appear insane, violent or oblivious to reality can move toward recovery through our respectful and helpful work-recovery program. We have a special gift for assisting people who have exited the "part-of-society" stage of their life, helping them visibly change and return in a proud and useful way.

The unique nature of what we do helps people who may think that they cannot interact normally with society, but are not able to understand why.We can help people who have lost friends, cannot keep jobs, and have lost their family relationships. We can help people who have tried many forms of counseling, including those with situations that may have improved for a time, but then went down hill as before. We can help people who have become increasingly more desperate, consulting many doctors and other specialists and even people who have been asked to leave other programs. We can help almost any person who honestly wants to change, but somehow does not have the tools to change. We can do this because what we offer, and the people who offer it can help overcome even these types of obstacles.
