Use your logic and intuition to help others create and test ideas based on good science, and through this opportunity, gain the power to extend your knowledge to solve important, modern-day problems with far-reaching applications.
At TVI, we know that the right work, right training and good career goals improve the overall functioning of the human body without side effects. And we found our principles of training-centric recovery can be applied to a wide range of clinical and practical situations. Clarity, compassion, and willingness to explore truth wherever it leads are essential qualities for those working with our programs. If you want to "live and learn" the truth about recovery, regardless of mainstream opinion, you've come to the right place. With TVI principles, you gain the power to implement work and career-building ideas to achieve greater function and effectiveness. And -- you can put the results together to restore health.
Trained volunteers facilitate many Telecommuting programs offered by TVI. Volunteers currently working with challenged individuals, and with the other populations served, follow a basic structure of six sessions, totaling approximately 20-40 hours of instruction, conducted over a 7-14 day period or during weekends. While 30 hours of instruction may be ideal, the program can be condensed without losing substantial effectiveness, particularly when reinforced with weekly follow-up sessions. These follow-up sessions are conducted whenever practicable.
The Volunteer program follows a planned sequence which allows the skills to be learned and reinforced over the duration of the training.
